Mysore/Mysuru: The Zilla Panchayat and Department of Youth Empowerment and Sports (DYES) will conduct the selection trials for admission of sportspersons for its sports schools and hostels for the year 2023-24.
Selection for junior boys and girls to 8th standard will be held on Jan. 23, 2023 while State-level selection of seniors (boys and girls) to I PUC will be held on Jan. 24, 2023 at Chamundi Vihar Stadium in Nazarbad.
The selection process at various taluks of the district will be held at following venues and dates:
Dec. 29 and Dec. 30 at H.D. Kote Taluk Stadium and Beechanahalli Government High School, Hunsur Taluk Stadium and Gadagere Government High School, Periyapatna Taluk Stadium and Ravandur Primary School premises and Chamundi Vihar Stadium in city.
From Dec. 31 to Jan. 2 at K.R. Nagar Taluk Stadium and Chunchanakatte Government High School.
Jan. 3 and Jan. 4 at Vidyalaya High School in T. Narasipur Taluk and Tumbala Village School.
Jan. 5 and Jan. 6 at Nanjangud Taluk Stadium and Government High School in Hadinaru village.
Jan. 7 and Jan. 8 at Saragur Taluk First Grade College and Government High School in B. Matkere.
