Mysuru: The two-day Mysore Medical College Alumni Association (MAA) Utsav-2017, organised by the Association which commenced on Dec. 9 concluded on Dec.10, during which senior doctors were felicitated at the MMC&RI Platinum Jubilee Hall in J.K. Grounds here.
Awards: Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Dr. Kantha Jadhav, former Vice-Chancellor, Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS).
Doctors C.K. Hiranyagowda, B.V. Ramalingashetty, H.S. Ballal, Shantaram Shetty, Sharanappa, K.S. Thippegowda, Ganapati, Ranganathaaiah, Anandappa, P. Narayan, Mayappa, T.R. Ravinath, A.C. Sriram, Vijayadev and Puttanna were also felicitated on the occasion. Dr. Kantha Jadhav, in his inaugural address, asked doctors to be polite and kind with patients as the profession demands such qualities.
Retired VC of RGUHS Dr. S. Chandrashekar Shetty, MMC&RI Dean and Director Dr. S. Radhamani, Director of Institute of Diabetology-Bengaluru Dr. M.A. Shekar, MAA President Dr. H.T. Chidanand, Secretary Dr. M.S. Kempegowda, Treasurer Dr. B.N. Ananda Ravi and others were present during the programme.
