Mysuru: “Senior lawyers should provide stipend to junior lawyers who have just begun their career after law education,” suggested Principal District and Sessions Judge S.K. Vontigodi.
Speaking at a function organised by Mysore Bas Association at its premises in District Law Courts complex here on Saturday, Judge Vontigodi said that 15 years ago itself young lawyers who began their career with senior lawyers in Dharwad, Belagavi and other places of North Karnataka were paid a stipend of Rs. 2,000 to Rs. 3,000.
