Mysuru: The server at the Mini Vidhana Soudha, which had crashed and put into inconvenience thousands of applicants seeking records, has started functioning again.
The higher officials, who finally woke up, after this newspaper had reported it on Thursday, got the server repaired yesterday and it started working.
The server in the Mini Vidhana Soudha in Nazarbad, which houses the offices of the Sub-Registrar, Taluk Office, Taluk Panchayat, Assistant Director of Land Records, Assistant Director of Agriculture and many more, was out of order from June 8. As a result, the work of issuing almost 38 different types of certificates including income, caste, family tree, authentication certificates, had come to a standstill. Nearly 2,300 applications were pending.
The problem was sorted out on Friday morning by calling in technicians to repair the server. By afternoon, the issuance of pending certificates began. The farmers who were waiting for more than 21 days for their certificates heaved a sigh of relief.
