Mysore/Mysuru: Sri Swarna Nrisimha Datta Sai Peethika Seva Trust, Chamaraja Mohalla, had organised various service programmes marking the death anniversary of Sri Arjun Avadhoota Swamiji’s father Sri Ananda on Jan. 21.
As part of it, a Blood Donation Camp was organised at Kamakshi Hospital in Saraswathipuram in the presence of Kamakshi Hospital Head Dr. Kamath and Blood Bank Head Dr. Prasanna Kumar, Trust’s Social Activities Head Dr. Sonia Mandappa and Vikas.
Same day, jackets were distributed to the Women Police at Lakshmipuram Police Station to facilitate them work in night shifts. Trust’s Dr. Sonia Mandappa, Dwarakanath, Savitha Ganesh, K.N. Roopa, Vikas and Skandan were present during the distribution.
Later, keeping in mind that no child is deprived of education, Trust office-bearers launched ‘Vidyanandasri,’ an annual student scholarship distribution in memory of Sri Ananda to help economically backward students. The Trust aims to take this scholarship to students across the State in future.
