Shankar (59), COVID-19 Nodal Officer of Nanjangud taluk and Executive Engineer at the Panchayat Raj Department in Mysuru, passed away on Monday at a private hospital in Mysuru following brief illness.
He leaves behind his wife, two daughters and a son.
Last rites were performed at his farm in Yariyur, Yalandur taluk.
