Mysuru: Sringeri Shankara Mutt in Fort Mohalla, Mysuru, will be conducting a fortnight-long Sri Sharada Sharannavaratrotsava in the Mutt premises from Oct. 2.
The event will begin with Mahabhisheka, pujas and rituals at 7 am on Oct. 2 at Sri Sharada Parameshwari Sannidhi.

Swarna Nrusimha Datta Sai Peethika Seva Trust
As part of Sharannavaratri Mahotsava to be held under the aegis of Swarna Nrusimha Datta Sai Peethika Seva Trust from Oct. 3 to 12, Homas and other rituals will be conducted at Venkatarjuna Dhyana Mandira located near Harohalli on Mysuru-Bannur Road in the morning everyday and Lalitha Sahasranma and cultural programmes in the evenings at Guru Nivasa on Sonar Street in city, under the guidance of Arjuna Avadhoota.
Pratyangira Homa will be performed for global well-being at Venkatarjuna Dhyana Mandira, Bannur Road at 6 pm on Oct. 2, as part of Mahalaya Amavasya.
Oct. 3: Vanadurga Homa, Oct. 4: Lakshminarayana Hrudaya Homa, Oct. 5: Swayamvara Parvati Homa, Oct. 6: Bala Tripurasundari Homa, Oct. 7: Lalitha Homa, Oct. 8: Shreesookta Homa, Oct. 9: Saraswathi Homa, Oct. 10: Durga Homa, Oct. 11: Chandi Homa and Oct. 12: Deepotsava will be held at Dhyana Mandira at 6 pm. Sri Venkateshwara Dhyana Kendra
Sharannavaratri will also be celebrated at Sri Venkateshwara Dhyana Kendra of Uttaradi Mutt in Srirampura, Mysuru, from Oct. 3 to 12. Everyday, there will be Vishnusahasranama Paarayana at 8 am.
