Shivannagowda (74), a resident of Hebbal Koppal village in the taluk, passed away yesterday night at the village.
He leaves behind his wife Jayamma, sons Nani Hebbal (press photographer) and Ravi and a host of relatives and friends.
Last rites were performed at the village this afternoon.
