Mysuru: Due to shortage of accommodation in Shravanabelagola for the pilgrims coming from across the country to witness the Mahamastakabhisheka of Lord Bahubali, food and shelter is being provided to the devotees by various Jain organisations in city.
Nirmal Chand Jain and his sons and various Jain organisations including Jain Women’s Wing and Women’s Self Help Groups have made arrangements to provide food and shelter at Sri M.L. Vardhamanaiah Jain Boarding Home in Halladakeri here and also at Nanjaraja Bahadur Choultry on Vinoba Road in city till Mar. 5.
Jain style food including fruits is being provided to the pilgrims. It is learnt that about 2,000 pilgrims are being accommodated at these two places daily.
