Mysore/Mysuru: Shravanamasa discourse and Pujanushtana programme will take place at Suttur Mutt premises, Chamundi foothills here from Aug.17 to Sep.15.
Special pujas will be held in the mornings and mass prayers from 6 pm to 6.30 pm every day. Dr. K. Anantharamu will deliver discourse from Aug.17 to 26 and Sept.6 to 15 while Prof. Morabada Mallikarjuna will deliver discourse from Aug. 27 to Sept.5.
Deputy Commissioner Dr. K.V. Rajendra will inaugurate the programme at 6 pm on Aug.17 in the presence of Suttur Mutt Seer Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji and Mariyala Murugharajendra Mutt Seer Immadi Murugharajendra Swamiji. MCC Commissioner Ashaad-Ur-Rahman Shariff will preside.
At Suttur Srikshetra
The Shravanamasa Pujanaushtana and discourse will take place at Suttur Srikshetra in Nanjangud taluk from Aug.16 to Sept.14.
There will be mass prayers between 6.30 pm and 7 pm, followed by discourse on all the days.
SP Seema Latkar will inaugurate the event today at 6.30 pm in the presence of Suttur Mutt Seer Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji and Kunduru Betta Sri Rasa Siddeshwara Mutt (Malavalli taluk) Seer Nanjunda Swamiji. ZP CEO K.M. Gayathri will preside.
