Mysuru: The 21st Annual Music Festival of Shruthimanjari Foundation will be held in city from Jan. 23 to Jan. 27. The fest will be inaugurated tomorrow at 6 pm at Rotary West Auditorium in Kuvempunagar by Dr. C.G. Narasimhan, President of Ganabharathi. Rtn. P.M. Nanaiah, President, Rotary Club of Mysore West, will preside.
The inauguration will be followed by a Karnatak Music concert by Vid. Manasanayana – vocal, Vidu. Aditi Krishna Prasad – violin, Vid.H.L. Shivashankara Swamy – mridanga and Vid. Raghunandan – ghata at 7 pm.
Jan. 24 – 6 pm: Karnatak vocal by Vidu. Aishwarya Manikarnika – winner of State-level Mosale Krishna Murthy Raga-Tana-Pallavi contest; 7 pm: Laya-Naada Rasaanubhava by Vid. G.S. Ramanujan and Party.
Jan. 25 – 6 pm: Karnatak vocal duet by Vidu. Kavitha Saralaya and Vidu. Triveni Saralaya, Vidu. Nalina Mohan – violin, Vid. Tumkur Ravishankar – mridanga and Vid. Sharath Koushik – ghata.
Jan. 26 – 6 pm: Karnatak Music (Instrumental) by Vid. H.K. Venkatram and Vishnu Venkatram – violin duet, Vid. Arjun Kumar – mridanga and Vid. G.S. Ramanujan – ghata.
Jan.27 – 6 pm: Karnatak Music by Vid. Vignesh Eshwar and Party.
Shruthimanjari Foundation will pay condolences to Siddaganga Seer prior to the Music Festival which will be held as scheduled as all the events are based on bhakti sangeetha.
