Shruthimanjari’s Music Fest from Jan. 22

Mysuru: Shruthimanjari Foundation has organised its 27th Annual Music Festival from Jan. 22 to 26 at Rotary West Auditorium in Saraswathipuram here.

Jan. 22 – 6 pm: Vidu. Revathi Kamat, Veena Vidushi and Connoisseur of Art, will inaugurate the Festival. Rtn. Nagesh Atharva, President, Rotary Club of Mysore West, Mysuru, will preside.

7 pm: Karnatak Classical Instrumental Music by Vidu. Revathi Kamat (veena), Vid. B.R. Sridhar (mridanga) and Vid. M.R. Manjunath (ghata).

Jan. 23 – 6 pm: Presentation by participants of the workshop; Vocal music by winner of ‘Mosale Krishnamurthy Memorial Raga-Tana-Pallavi Competition.’

Jan. 24 – 6 pm: Karnatak Classical Vocal Music by Vidu. Amrutha Venkatesh accompanied by Vid. Vaibhav Ramani on violin and Vid. Tumkur B. Ravishankar on mridanga.

Jan. 25 – 6 pm: Karnatak Classical Instrumental Music – Violin Duet by Vid. Vittal Ramamurthy and Vid. Srihari Vittal. They will be accompanied by Vid. G.S. Ramanujam on mridanga and Vid. V.S. Ramesh on morching.

Jan. 26 – 11.30 am: Sri Purandara-Sri Tyagaraja Aradhana Mahotsava – Goshti Gayana by renowned Musicians; 6 pm: Karnatak Classical Vocal Music by Vid. T.V. Ramprasad accompanied by Vid. Achyutha Rao on violin, Vid. Phanindra Bhaskar on mridanga and Vid. Sharath Koushik on ghata.
