Bengaluru: Chief Minister Siddharamaiah began his month-long Government-sponsored tour of the State from today from Basavakalyan is Bidar. The tour will cover all Assembly segments represented by the Congress.
During his month-long tour, the CM will participate over a 100 programmes. The CM is scheduled to visit Madikeri and Virajpet constituencies in Kodagu district on Jan.9 and Hanur, Kollegal and Chamarajnagar Assembly segments in Chamarajanagar on Jan.10. On Jan.11, the CM will visit H.D. Kote and Nanjangud constituencies in Mysuru district and participate in a programme at T. Narasipur in which he is scheduled to launch several initiatives involving T. Narasipur and Varuna constituencies. The CM was elected from Varuna constituency in 2013 assembly poll.
After covering all the 30 districts during his tour, Siddharamaiah will end his tour at Kanakapura in Ramanagaram district on Jan.13. Meanwhile, the KPCC will start its poll campaign from Dec.27 in Assembly constituencies held by Opposition parties.
