Mysore/Mysuru: New Crafts has organised Silk India-2021, an exhibition-cum-sale of vast collections of handlooms, dress materials and sarees from across the country from today at Nanjaraj Bahadur Choultry on Vinobha Road in city.
The exhibition brings together rural weavers from across the country who are showcasing vast collections of handlooms, dress materials and sarees, which includes cotton and silk handlooms of Karnataka, West Bengal cotton sarees, Jewellery — silver, kundan and meenakari, textile, handmade paper, precious and semi-precious stones, gemstone, paintings, leather craft, hand crafted items — wood, lac, glass, brass, silver and gold, handmade jewellery, carpets, durries, mojaris/jutis, marble crafts, textiles of colourful fabrics like Bandhani and Bandhej of Gujarat and much more.
The expo will be held till Jan. 17 and is open for public from 10 am to 8 pm daily.
