Bengaluru: The Federation of Konkani Catholic Associations will be celebrating its Silver Jubilee on Sunday (June 25) evening at Chowdiah Memorial Hall in Malleswaram, Bengaluru. Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar will be the chief guest. Assembly Speaker U.T. Khader, Energy Minister K.J. George, Philanthropist and NRI Entrepreneur Dr. Ronald Colaco will be the guests of honour. Most Rev. Dr. Peter Machado, Archbishop of Bengaluru, will preside.
Cultural extravaganza by member Associations at 3.30 pm will be followed by conferring of awards to eminent personalities at 5 pm — Lifetime Achievement award to Dr. Kiran Kamal Prasad, Human Rights Activist – Bonded and Child Labour; Professional Excellence to Stephen Quadros, Renowned Writer and Entrepreneur of the Year to Michael D’Souza, NRI Entrepreneur-Philanthropist.
