The Mysore Bank Colony Residents’ Cultural and Welfare Association, Srirampura, which was started on 27.1.1993, has completed 25 years of its existence, thanks to a large service-minded people as office-bearers and active social workers, working endlessly to bring up the development of the layout. The Silver Jubilee celebrations will be held on Dec.23 at Veene Seshanna Bhavan in Kuvempunagar at 4.30 pm. On the occasion, the Association will be felicitating H.S. Nanjundaswamy, Director of SBM Employees Housing Cooperative Society, for forming the layout and handing over it to SBM employees at an affordable price. The programme will be inaugurated by T.T. Kumara Nayaka, MCC Assistant Commissioner. Corporator Champaka will be the guest of honour. Various cultural programmes will be held including Sangeetha Vaividhya by Vid. Shivashankaraswamy, the famous mridangist and AIR artiste. Arunkumar Shettar will preside over the function. Prizes will be distributed to the winners of sports and other competitions held earlier.
