The Silver Jubilee celebrations of Vasavi Mahila Samaja, Mysuru, will be held at Jaganmohan Palace in the heart of the city at 4 pm tomorrow (Jan. 7). Announcing this at a press meet here yesterday, Samaja President Lakshmi Dinesh said that the Silver Jubilee of the Samaja will be celebrated in a meaningful manner.
Stating that Kanyaka Parameshwari Temple President S.K. Dinesh will inaugurate the celebrations in the presence of actress Tara Anuradha who is the chief guest, Lakshmi said that the city’s Kanyaka Parameshwari Co-operative Bank President H.M. Sandeep will distribute prizes to the winners of various contests organised as part of the celebrations. Highlighting the social service activities of the Samaja over the years, Lakshmi said that the specially abled will be distributed artificial limbs on the occasion.
Samaja Office-bearers Radha Gopinath, C.S. Anitha, Dhanalakshmi, Dr. Shobha and Sadhana were present.
