Mysuru: Mysore Institute of Commerce and Arts (MICA) hosted MYCArnival 2023 as part of their 10th anniversary celebrations in city recently.
The nonstop entertainment for more than 5 hours hosted a range of performances by MICAns and other College students.
The cultural performances included group singing, dance, martial arts show, flash mob, fashion show to name a few. In the fashion show competition, Wadiyar Centre for Architecture bagged the cash prize of Rs. 10,000 and a trophy. The winners received the prize from Fouzan Raheel, Chairman, MET and Amir Sadan, Secretary, MET.
During the event, a video capturing the 10-year journey of MICA, video messages of Management Trustees and a video tribute to late M.N. Ponnamma, the first Principal of the College, was played.
Mumbai-based singer and music composer Zaeden was the star performer of MYCArnival 2023. Zaeden entertained the gathering of more than 3,000 college students with his popular numbers and compositions. The energy packed performance by the artiste enthralled the youths.
The event sponsors included Afex Steel & Land Developers, Vastram, K&F events, Naksha builders, Splash Berry, according to a press release from the College Principal.
