Mysore/Mysuru: Sir Khazi of Mysuru Hazarath Moulana Mohd. Usman Shariff and Ulemas Moulana Mohd. Javeed Hussain Jamali, Moulana Mateen Ahmed Razvi, Moulana Imran Sultani, Moulana Hassan Raza and others visited the District Wakf Board Office on Sayyaji Rao Road in city recently and felicitated the newly appointed Chairman and office-bearers.
Earlier, Moulana Imran Raza, Khateeb of Masjid Rehamathiya read Qirath, recited verses from the Holy Quran while Moulana Hasan Raza read phrases of Prophet Muhammad. New Member Moulana Abdul Salam Razvi welcomed. For the first time in the history of Mysuru Wakf Advisory Committee, two Ulemas have been included in the Committee.
Later, District Wakf Board Advisory Committee Chairman Azeez Ulla Ajju spoke and gave some important suggestions. He also felicitated Sir Khazi in the presence of Vice-Chairman Shabnam Sayeed, Members Nisar Ahmed, P. Amjad Pasha, District Wakf Inspector Mohd. Younus, Tanzeem Ahle Sunnath-wo-Jamath Trust President Javeed Sait Razvi, Syed Aslam, ex-Councillor of K.R. Nagar Town Municipality and other Wakf Institutions. Office-bearers of various Masjids and Dargas too felicitated Sir Khazi and Ulemas.
