Mysore/Mysuru: Sir Khazi of Mysuru Hazarath Moulana Mohammed Usman Shariff launched the Ramzan-2021 calendar regarding commencement of fasting and ending time near Masjid Tipu at Bannimantap in city on Wednesday. Ramzan fasting month commenced from April 14.
The Moon Committee Meeting was held on Monday at 7 pm at the Office of the Mysore District Wakf Advisory Committee on Sayyaji Rao Road and collected information regarding sighting of Moon. As moon was not sighted in any part of Mysuru district, the Commiittee decided to start the Holy Month of Ramzan and fasting from Wednesday.
