Mysuru: As part of the week-long Suttur Jathra to be held from Jan. 18 to Jan. 23, 2023, a Siridhanya food items contest has been organised at Suttur on Jan. 21.
The annual Krishi Mela has also been organised. As United Nations has announced 2023 as International Year of Millets (Siridhanya Varsha), this year information about the usage of Siridhanya, Siridhanya Expo, conference and competition have been organised as part of Suttur Jathra Mahotsava.

Suttur Jathra Photography contest
Mysuru: As part of the week-long Suttur Jathra Mahotsava to be held from Jan. 18 to Jan. 23, 2023, a photography contest has been organised in two categories — DSLR camera photography and Mobile phone photography.
Winners of DSLR camera photography will get cash prizes of Rs. 6,000 (first), Rs. 4,000 (second) and Rs. 2,000 (third). Five contestants will be given Rs. 1,000 as consolation prize. Winners of Mobile phone photography will get cash prizes of Rs. 3,000 (first), Rs. 2,000 (second) and Rs. 1,000 (third). Five contestants will be given Rs. 500 as consolation prize.
Registration must be done before Jan. 10 and photographs must be sent before Jan. 30. Five hard copy pictures of 12×18 inch clicked in DSLR camera and mobile phones must be sent to the Office of Suttur Jathra Mahotsava Samithi at JSS Mahavidyapeetha, Dr. Shivarathri Rajendra Circle, Agrahara, Mysuru, and the soft copy of the pictures must bee-mailed to jathraphotocompetition@gmail.com. Certificates will be given to all the participants.
