Mysuru: The State Government has transferred six Deputy Superintendents of Police (Dy.SP – Civil) and 45 Police Inspectors through an order issued on Tuesday.
Dy.SP R. Mohankumar, who was working in Virajpet Sub-Division, Kodagu district, has been transferred to State Intelligence, S. Mahesh Kumar, who was awaiting his place of transfer, has been moved to Virajpet Sub-Division and Kumaraswamy has been transferred from CID to Channarayapatna Sub-Division.
45 Inspectors transferred
Among the 45 Police Inspectors, who have also been transferred, include S. Mahadevaswamy (Central Crime Branch – CCB), Bengaluru, has been transferred to KR Traffic Police Station, Mysuru, K.R. Raghu, who was transferred to KR Traffic Police Station ahead of Lok Sabha elections, is now transferred to Devaraja Station, C.M. Ravindra, who was working at Konaje Station, has been transferred to Nanjangud Town Station and Prasannakumar, who was in Mysuru CEN Crime Police Station, has been transferred to Sargur Police Station. Also, K.H. Anand Kumar, who was in Women’s Police Station, Mandya, has been transferred to Srirangapatna Rural Police Station, as per the latest transfer order.
