Campaign launched for India’s victory  in ICC Women’s World Cup today

Mysuru: Cycle Pure Agarbathies, from the house of NR Group, has launched ‘Pray For India’ campaign in city this morning to support the Indian women cricket team which is taking on England team in the ICC Women’s World Cup played at The Lord’s in London today at 3 pm (IST).

V.R. Vanitha, Senior and Opening Batsman, Karnataka Women’s Cricket Team, lit six-feet Akhandagarbathi in front of Kote Anjaneyaswamy Temple in city to kick start the campaign.

Speaking on the initiative, Vanitha said: “Cricket is a religion in India, it is one sports that brings the whole country together. Cycle Pure Agarbathies’ campaign gave an opportunity to the people of Mysuru to display their love for the game yet again, and extend their support for India’s victory. The team’s performance so far has been commendable. The whole nation is rooting for them. And our best wishes are with them.”
