Six persons go missing

Mysore/Mysuru: In separate cases, six persons have gone missing from Saraswathipuram and Narasimharaja (NR) Police limits in city and Bilikere Police Station limits.

In the first case, 41-year-old Afsar Ali Khan, a resident of Saraswathipuram Police limits, who works in Bengaluru, has gone missing since Oct. 4, according to the complaint lodged by his wife. He is 5.8 ft. tall, round faced, well built, wheatish complexioned, has an old mark of a wound on his left hand, speaks Kannada, Hindi, Urdu, Tamil and Telugu and was wearing a black pant and grey T-shirt at the time of going missing.

In the second case, 29-year-old M.S. Shivaprasad, a specially-abled and the son of a retired KSRTC Conductor, has gone missing from NR Police limits.

In the third case, 46-year-old Rajesh Kumar, a welder by profession, has gone missing, according to the complaint lodged by his brother at NR Police Station.

In the fourth case, 75-year-old Muqthar Ahmed, a resident of Momin Nagar in Kesare, is missing, according to the complaint given to NR Police.

In the fifth case, 60-year-old Arogyaswamy, a tailor by profession, has gone missing.

Man missing since 2006

Hunsur: A 66-year-old man has gone missing from Karimuddanahalli village in the taluk since May 15, 2006. The missing man is Govinde-gowda of Karimuddanahalli.

According to the complaint lodged by his wife Jayamma with Bilikere Police, Govindegowda left the house on May 15, 2006 and has not returned since then. Those having any information about the missing person may contact Bilikere Police Station on Ph: 08222-240002, according to a press release.
