Mysuru: Students from JSS Science & Technology University — Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering (SJCE) — R. Harsha, P. Skanda and S. Krithi, all in their sixth sem have won 2nd prize for their project ‘Surface Water Analyzer and Notifier’ aimed at monitoring pollution at Lakes by incorporating concepts of loT and Data Analytics under D-Pitch category.
Deloitte, one of the “Big Four” accounting firms and the largest professional services network in the world concluded its first ever Engineering School Maverick programme with a grand finale at Deloitte DU, Hyderabad, recently. The contest saw a preliminary participation of around 19,000 students from across 45 colleges in the country. This was an opportunity for engineering students to showcase their talent in 3 threads: project ideas (D-Pitch), cyber security knowledge (CCTC), and data analytical skills (D-Aiv).
Ten best performing teams from colleges all over the nation were invited to take part in the finale at Hyderabad, which comprised two levels.
The teams were judged based on a presentation of their work in a boardroom environment and on-stage presentation before a panel of judges.
SJCE students received a cash prize of Rs. 75,000 for their achievement from Deloitte along with certificate of appreciation.
