Mysuru: Bharatiya Jain Sanghatan (BJS), Mysuru Chapter, has organised a workshop titled SMART GIRL to Empower Girls in the age group of 14 to 25 years in two batches on July 15 and 16 from 9.30 am to 4.30 pm in city.
Topics like generation gap within the family, better communication with parents, being and making friends, keeping high self-esteem, use of mass media, self defence etc. will be discussed at the free workshop.
The workshop will be inaugurated by University of Mysore Acting Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dayananda Mane at 9 am tomorrow at Nataraja PU College in the presence of Sri Chidananda Swamiji, President of Nataraja Educational Institutions and G. Prasada Murthy, Principal of Sri Nataraja PU College.
The workshop will be held at two places — Nataraja Pre-University College at Fort Mohalla, which will be conducted by Vimalasri, Asst. Professor at Sarada Vilas College.
Another workshop will be held at Paras Jain School in N.R. Mohalla which will be conducted by Mahendra Gandhi from Bengaluru. Dharmichand Derasariya will be the chief guest. Prasanna Kumar Surana, President of the school, will be present.
