“Something Rotten”: Musical comedy by C.A.U.S.E. Foundation on Sept. 3

Mysore/Mysuru: The C.A.U.S.E. (Cooperation of the Arts for the Underprivileged in Society & Environment) Foundation has organised a musical comedy show titled “Something Rotten” in city on Sept. 3. The event will be held at Jaganmohan Palace from 6 pm to 8 pm.

‘Something Rotten’ was hailed as the funniest musical comedy in at least 400 years! Set in England in the 1590s, two brothers Nick and Nigel Bottom are attempting to write a hit play but are overshadowed by the Renaissance rock star known as ‘The Bard’. However, a local fortune-teller comes to their rescue and foretells that the future of theatre involves singing, dancing and acting all at the same time! The brothers are now determined to create the world’s first musical but soon realise that to do so requires a lot more than they bargained for including the importance of Being True To Thyself…

The cast and crew includes some of Bengaluru’s finest new and old singing, acting, dancing and musical talents.

Tickets are priced at Rs. 700, Rs. 499, Rs. 350 and Rs. 200 which are available at Pelican Pub, Book My Show or call Pavitra on Mob: 63628-06480.
