Mysore: Karnataka State Souharda Federal Co-operative Limited (KSSFCL) had organised a contact meet of Souharda Co-operatives at a private hotel in city recently.
Presiding over the programme, KSSFCL Director H.V. Rajeev asked Co-operatives to come together and advocate new principles and systems matching with the time. He advised them to evolve a combined movement to tackle the dual policy of the Government.
He opined that the co-operative sector should focus more on deposit mobilisation and advancing loans. He added that small industries generate a good level of employment.
KSSFCL Regional Manager Narayana Hegde, Chairman B.H. Krishna Reddy, Former Director M.K. Somaiah, Chairman-designate for Mysuru, Mandya and Kodagu Federation Naveen and others were present.
