Gulbarga University, Kalburgi: 89 in 22 overs (Kedarnath Nagraj 27, M.U. Mukilesh 3 for 18, M.S. Sanjay 3 for 25) lost to University of Madras, Chennai: 90 for 2 in 10.5 overs (R. Rajkumar 42, Muhammed Adnan Khan 39 n.o.).
Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli: 68 in 17.1 overs (A. Anand Kumar 5 for 7, R. Chinna Raj 2 for 18, B. Dharma Rao 2 for 17) lost to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University, Srikakulam: 72 for one in 12.3 overs (Rakesh Sanyasi 26).
