Mysuru: All India Institute of Speech and Hearing (AIISH), Mysuru, has extended last date for applying to Bachelors Training Programme in Special Education at the Institute. The 2 – year Bachelor of Education – Special Education (Hearing Impairment), that is, B.Ed.Spl.Ed.(HI) programme trains teachers for children with hearing impairment. Graduates of any stream with an aggregate score of 50% (45% for SC/ST) can apply before June 17.

Degree holders may make use of this opportunity to open doors to a wide range of jobs, as special educators in special schools for children with hearing impairment, as well as resource teachers in mainstream schools.
