Mysuru: A special lecture on ‘Emerging Nano Business Environment’ was held at JSS Centre for Management Studies, MBA Department, JSS Science and Technology University, for the students of general MBA and MBA Corporate Finance in city recently.
Dr. K.S. Rajashekara, Professor, Post Graduate Centre, JSS College for Women, Sarawathipuram, who was the resource person, said that it was the time to explore and take the benefits of Nano Technology for the industrial world from the lab to the market.
According to him, invention is a scientist’s job while innovation is a manager’s job as Nano Technology is bringing changes to the attributes of inputs, adding value to the particles that are already existing and increasing the life span of the products.
Dr. K.S. Rajashekara, speaking on the impact of Nano Technology on the production function, observed that Nano Production Function is a gateway to emerging Nano business environment and called upon the corporations to commercialise the Nano Technology. He defined Nano business environment as a system of plenty or abundance.
Touching on the impacts of Nano Technology, Dr. Rajashekara defined Nano Technology as a manipulation of size and pointed out that international co-operation was essential to disseminate the benefits of Nano Technology at global scale.
Dr. P. Nagesh, Professor and Head of the Department, JSS Centre for Management Studies welcomed, Dr. Bettina C. Sudhaker, Programme Coordinator proposed a vote of thanks. Dr. B.G. Sangameshwara, Vice-Chancellor, JSS Science and Technology University, Mysuru, guided the Special Lecture.
