Mysore/Mysuru: Due to Covid-19 all cultural events had come to a halt. But with a view to keep the cultural lamp burning, Ganabharathi, Mysuru, was organising online music programmes so far.
“During these days of pandemic, nearly 74 programmes involving 200 artistes have gone online from Ganabharathi. Probably good days have set in. We are happy to inform that Ganabharathi will begin its offline programmes from Nov.19 at 6 pm,” stated a press release from T.S. Venugopal, Secretary, Ganabharathi, Kuvempunagar, Mysuru.
“This is a moment of celebration. Offline programmes will be launched symbolically with the performance of Vidwan/Vidushi Dr. R.N. Srilatha, Ballary M. Raghavendra, N.R. Prashanth, N. Srinath, Dr. Bhaskar, Dr. M.A. Jyothi. They will be accompanied by Vidwan/Vidushi Veena Suresh, G.S. Ramanujan, H.L. Shivashankaraswamy, Chandrakumar, M.V. Ajay Kumar, Keshava Mohankumar, Veerabhadraiah Hiremath and Bhima Shankar,” the release added and requested the music-lovers to celebrate this joyous moment at 6 pm on that day by taking all essential precautions against Covid-19.
