Mysuru: To accommodate the extra rush of passengers, Mysuru Division of South Western Railway (SWR) has decided to operate a special train service between Mysuru and Sengottai in Tamil Nadu. This service will be available for two trips only. Passengers may take advantage of this service for a more comfortable journey.
Train No. 06241 Mysuru – Sengottai Express will depart from Mysuru on Wednesday (Sept. 4) and Saturday (Sept. 7) at 21:20 hours and arrive at Sengottai the following day at 16:50 hrs. The train will make commercial stops at following stations:
Mandya, Maddur, Ramanagara, Kengeri, KSR Bengaluru, Krishnarajapuram, Bangarapet, Kuppam, Salem, Namakkal, Karur, Tiruchchirappalli, Pudukkottai, Karaikkudi, Sivaganga, Manamadurai, Aruppukkottai, Virudunagar Jn, Sivakasi, Srivilliputtur, Rajapalayam, Sankarankovil, Pambakovil Shandy, Kadayanallur, and Tenkasi Jn.
Train No. 06242 Sengottai – Mysuru Express will depart from Sengottai on Thursday (Sept. 5) and Sunday (Sept. 8) at 19:45 hrs and arrive in Mysuru the following day at 14:20 hrs. The train will make commercial stops at following stations:
Tenkasi Jn, Kadayanallur, Pambakovil Shandy, Sankarankovil, Rajapalayam, Srivilliputtur, Sivakasi, Virudunagar Jn, Aruppukkottai, Manamadurai, Sivaganga, Karaikkudi, Pudukkottai, Tiruchchirappalli, Karur, Namakkal, Salem, Kuppam, Bangarapet, Krishnarajapuram, KSR Bengaluru, Kengeri, Ramanagara, Maddur and Mandya.
The train will have a composition of Second AC – 2 coaches, Third AC – 2 coaches, Sleeper – 6 Coaches, Second Sitting – 6 Coaches and Luggage-cum-Sitting – 2 Coaches, according to a press release.
