Bengaluru: State BJP Vice-President and Dalit leader V. Sreenivasa Prasad called on State BJP President B.S. Yeddyurappa at the latter’s Dollar’s Colony residence in Bengaluru this morning.
The duo are said to have discussed about fielding the party’s candidate from Chamarajanagar LS seat.
Later, speaking to the party workers, who had assembled in large numbers and the media, Yeddyurappa said that Prasad had expressed his willingness to contest from Chamarajanagar following pressure from his supporters and fans.
MLA B. Harshavardhan, BJP leaders Kautilya Raghu, C. Basavegowda and others were present.
