Mysuru: A 5-wicket haul by medium-pacer Utham Aiyappa (5 for 40) and good batting by openers P.V. Preetham (66) and S.J. Nikin Jose (58 n.o.), helped RBNCC to register a facile 8-wicket win over Saraswathipuram SC in the final of the Sri M. Gopalaswami Memorial Cricket Tournament 2021, and clinch the title in the match played at SDNR Wadiyar Grounds in city on Sunday.

Final — Saraswathipuram SC: 139 in 32.1 overs (L.R. Chethan 32, Varun Mahendra 25, Utham Aiyappa 5 for 40, L.R. Kumar 4 for 22) lost to RBNCC: 143 for 2 in 19.1 overs (P.V. Preetham 66, S.J. Nikin Jose 58 n.o., Karthik Kumar 2 for 44).
