Mysore/Mysuru: Spiritual Guru Mumtaz Ali Khan, popularly known as Sri M, Founder of Satsang Foundation at Madanapalle in Andhra Pradesh, will deliver the 10th endowment lecture of JSS Mahavidyapeetha Golden Jubilee Lecture Series, at JSS College for Women at Saraswathipuram in city at 11 am on Feb. 23.
Sri M will speak on the topic ‘Achievement – The Road to Liberation.’
Mumtaz Ali Khan (Sri M) took to spirituality at an young age and was mentored by Maheshwarnath Babaji. He later established ‘Satsang Foundation’ at Madanapalle.
A renowned spiritual guide, social reformer and an educationist, Sri M’s autobiography titled ‘Apprenticed to a Himalayan Master – A Yogi’s Autobiography’ is a popular work. He was conferred ‘Padma Bhushan’ by the Government in 2019.
Suttur Seer Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji will grace the occasion. City’s Meritor HVS India (P) Ltd. Chairman and Executive Director Dr. N. Muthukumar will preside.
Bengaluru’s BRAINS (Bangalore Regenerative Advanced Institute of Neurosciences) Founder Dr. N.K. Venkataramana will release former ISRO Chairman Dr. A.S. Kiran Kumar’s work ‘Space Technology and Societal Applications’ and renowned International Monetary Fund’s (IMF) Chief Economist Dr. Geetha Gopinath’s work ‘Globalisation – Challenges and the need for co-operation’ on the occasion.
