Aims to distribute 25,000 tree saplings
Mysore/Mysuru: Sri Ramakrishna Ashram, Mysuru, has organised ‘Hachha Hasiru Mysuru – Viveka Prabheya Mysuru’ programme at Swami Vivekanandaji Auditorium in RK Vidyashala premises, Yadavagiri, tomorrow (Sept. 26) at 3.30 pm.
District In-charge Minister S.T. Somashekar will inaugurate the programme. State BJP Vice-President B.Y. Vijayendra will be the chief guest. President of Sri Ramakrishna Ashram Swami Muktidanandaji will grace the occasion. MLAs S.A. Ramdas, L. Nagendra, MUDA Chairman H.V. Rajeev and Honorary Member of Environmental Management and Policy Research Institute, Bengaluru, Dr. Vinay Kumar will be the special invitees. As part of its Green Mysuru initiative, Sri Ramakrishna Ashram is launching its ‘Hachha Hasiru Mysuru’ project to distribute over 25,000 tree saplings to individual houses in city free of cost. Tree saplings will be distributed at Sri Ramakrishna Ashram and RK Vidyashala, Yadavagiri; Viveka Memorial, Narayana Shastri Road and Ramakrishna Vidya Kendra in Ramakrishnanagar, every day from 10 am to 12 noon and 3 pm to 5.30 pm, till November, according to a press release.
