The District Administration and the Department of Kannada and Cultural have jointly organised Sri Shivayogi Siddarameshwara Jayanthi celebrations at Kalamandira on Hunsur Road tomorrow (Feb. 6) at 11.30 am. Bhovi Gurupeeta Mutt Seer Sri Immadi Siddarameshwara Swamiji will grace the occasion. District in-Charge Minister S.T. Somashekar will inaugurate the programme while MLA L. Nagendra will preside.
Mayor Shivakumar, MPs Pratap Simha, Sreenivasa Prasad and Sumalatha Ambarish will be the chief guests. MLAs Tanveer Sait, S.R. Mahesh, G.T. Devegowda, K. Mahadev, Harshavardhan, Ashwin Kumar, H.P. Manjunath, S.A. Ramdas, Dr. Yathindra Siddharamaiah & C. Anil Kumar, MLCs, Chairmen of various Boards and Corporations will be present, according to Kannada & Culture Assistant Director Dr. M.D. Sudharshan.
