SSLC evaluation procedure begins in city

Mysuru: With the actual evaluation of SSLC answer scripts scheduled to begin from tomorrow, the evaluation procedure began today at six centres across the city.

The Deputy Chiefs, who have been tasked with overseeing the preparations and set out modalities for the evaluation of answer scripts, arrived at these centres and began their job.

Meanwhile, DDPI Panduranga speaking to SOM this morning, ruled out any delay in the announcement of SSLC results as reported in a section of the press.

Pointing out that the entry of marks has been computerised, thus saving a lot of time, Panduranga said that the evaluation of answer scripts will commence from tomorrow, with Assistant Examiners taking part. The evaluation will end on Apr.20, he added. There are 6 evaluation centres in the city — Cauvery High School, Kuvempunagar; Nirmala Convent, VV Mohalla; Chinmaya High School, Jayalakshmipuram; Vijaya Vittala School, Saraswathipuram; Gnana Ganga High School, Kuvempunagar and St. Philomena’s High School, NR Mohalla.

In order to ensure smooth evaluation, the City Police have clamped prohibitory orders as per Section 35 of Karnataka Police Act, 1963, in 200 mts radius of all the 6 exam Centres in city.

The ban orders will be in force from 6 am to 6 pm on all the days and tight Police security has been provided around all the exam centres.
