Stabbed youth succumbs to injuries: Krishnaraja Police take four persons into custody

Mysore/Mysuru: A 24-year-old youth, who was stabbed multiple times by four persons near 101 Ganapathi Temple at Agrahara on Sunday afternoon and admitted to a private hospital, has succumbed to injuries at the hospital yesterday.

Krishnaraja (KR) Police, who had registered a case based on the complaint from the deceased youth’s parents, have taken four persons into custody yesterday in connection with the incident.

The deceased youth is Kumar, an auto driver and a resident of Medarakeri in city.

It is learnt that four persons, including Prajwal, Abhishek and Prashanth, had fought with Kumar over petty issues eight months ago and the four had stabbed Kumar on Sunday afternoon over the same issue.

KR Police, who rushed to the spot, had shifted Kumar, who was lying in a pool of blood to a private hospital in city where he succumbed to injuries at the hospital late yesterday night.

A team of KR Police, led by KR Sub-Division ACP, are investigating.
