Bengaluru: In one of the highlights of the 2024 LS polls, Karnataka got as many as 20 new MPs who will enter the Parliament for the first time.
They are: Bidar MP Sagar Khandre, Raichur (ST) MP G. Kumar Nayak, who is an ex-bureaucrat, Ballari (ST) MP E. Tukaram, who is currently the Sandur MLA, Chikkodi MP Priyanka Jarkiholi, Davangere MP Prabha Mallikarjun, Kalaburagi (SC) MP Radhakrishna Doddamani, Koppal MP Rajashekar Hitnal, Hassan MP Shreyas Patel and Chamarajanagar (SC) MP Sunil Bose from Congress party; Bangalore (Rural) MP Dr. C.N. Manjunath, Tumkur MP V. Somanna, Mysuru-Kodagu MP Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar, Udupi-Chikkamagalur MP Kota Srinivas Poojari, Chitradurga (SC) MP Govind Karjol, Belagavi MP Jagadish Shettar, Chikkaballapur MP Dr. K. Sudhakar, Haveri MP Basavaraj Bommai, Uttara Kannada MP Vishweshwar Hegde Kageri and Dakshina Kannada MP Brijesh Chauta from BJP and Kolar (SC) MP Mallesh Babu from JD-S.
