Mysuru: The election to the District Executive Committee of State Government Employees Association (2019-24) will take place on June 13.
There are four polling centres in the city and the voting for electing the office-bearers of the Committee will take place from 11 am to 4 pm on that day.
There are 61 office-bearer posts out of which the election will take place only for 30 posts, as the candidates for 31 posts have already been declared elected unopposed.
There are 112 candidates from 22 Departments in the fray. The four centres where voting will take place are: Maharani’s Arts College on JLB Road, NTM School on N.S. Road, District Health and Family Welfare Department Office in Nazarbad and Karnataka State Government Employees Association Office on Dhanvantri Road, according to Electoral Officer Harish Kumar, who also said that all preparations have been made for the smooth conduct of the polls.
