Bengaluru: It has been decided to end the ongoing State Legislature Session on Feb.23 in view of the forthcoming Assembly elections which is resulting in chronic absenteeism of Legislators for the Session who seem to be focusing on their respective constituencies in the interest of Assembly polls.
This decision was reportedly taken at the Legislature Affairs Committee Meeting held on Feb.20.
As per the earlier programme, the Legislature Session was supposed to go on till Feb.28. This Session will be the last one during the Siddharamaiah-led Congress Government.
