Bengaluru: Following the death of Surpur Congress MLA Raja Venkatappa Nayaka, the ongoing State Legislature Session has been extended till Wednesday.
The Budget session was to conclude on Feb.23. But due to indisposition of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, the session was extended till Feb.26. Now, the session has been extended till Wednesday (Feb.28), following the demise of sitting Congress MLA from Surpur in Yadgir district Raja Venkatappa Nayaka, in Bengaluru on Sunday following brief illness. However, there will be no session tomorrow (Feb.27) on account of Rajya Sabha polls for four seats from the State, the results of which will be announced later in the evening tomorrow.
