Mysore/Mysuru: Akhila Karnataka Hindu Temple Archaks, Agamikas and Upadhivantas Federation President M.S. Venkatachalaiah has said that a State-level Conference of the Federation members will be held at Bengaluru Town Hall on Feb.7 at 10 am.
Addressing a press conference at Pathrakarthara Bhavan in city recently, he said the Archaks, Agamikas and Upadhivantas, who are continuing the Hindu culture and traditions by performing puja and other rituals on a daily basis, are facing many problems.
‘Hence, we will submit a memorandum to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, who is participating in the event, to solve our problems and fulfill our demands including monthly honorarium,’ he said.
Federation office-bearers Mahadevappa, Raghunandan, Y.C. Basavaraju, M.C. Suresh, H.D. Kote Basavaraju and others were present at the press meet.
