Mysuru: Karnataka Ganakala Parishat, Bengaluru and Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Ashrama, Mysuru, have jointly organised State-level Conventions of Senior and Young Music Scholars at Nada Mantapa in the Ashrama premises on Ooty Road in city from Oct. 4 to 8. The event has been organised as part of 75th Vardhanti of Sri Ganapathy Swamiji.
The 48th Convention of Senior Music Scholars will be chaired by Vidu. T.S. Vasanthamadhavi while the 30th Convention of Young Music Scholars will be chaired by Vid. B.C. Manjunath.
Oct. 4: 9 am: Mangalavadya by Vid. R. Rangaswamy & Vid. R. Sridhar (Nadaswara) and Vid. S. Puttaraju & Vid. P. Vinay (Dolu).
10.30 am: Inauguration; Goshti Gayana by the students of KSGH Music and Performing Arts University; Sri Ganapathy Swamiji will grace the occasion. Kannada and Culture Minister Umashree, former MLC G. Madhusudan, Ganakala Bhushana Vid. Dr. K. Vageesh and Ganakala Sri Vid. T.S. Pattabhirama Pandit will be the chief guests.
