State-Level Plumbers’ Convention on Apr. 30

Mysuru: A State-Level Convention of Plumbers, organised by Sir M. Visvesvaraya Plumbing and Underground Drainage and other Construction Workers’ Welfare Association, will be held on Apr. 30 at 12 noon in Dasara Exhibition Grounds here.

Disclosing this at a press meet held at Patrakarthara Bhavan here on Thursday, Association General Secretary M.S. Suresh Kumar said that it was for the first time that this State-level Convention was being held.

He said that Suttur Seer Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji will grace the occasion, Chief Minister Siddharamaiah will inaugurate the Convention and MLA M.K. Somashekar will preside.

Labour Minister Santosh Lad, District Minister Dr. H.C. Mahadevappa and Primary & Secondary Education Minister Tanveer Sait would be present as chief guests, he added.

Suresh Kumar further said that prior to the stage programme, a jatha would be taken out from Kote Anjaneyaswamy Temple premises, which would be flagged off by MP Pratap Simha at 8 am.

Sir M. Visvesvaraya Plumbing and Underground Drainage and other Construction Workers’ Welfare Association Director Chandregowda, Jagadish, Chandru, Mahesh and others were present during the press meet.
