Mysore/Mysuru: Seven swimmers representing city-based Global Sports Association (GSA) have bagged a total of 28 medals in the recently held N.R.J. State-level Sub-Junior and Junior Swimming Competition organised by Karnataka State Swimming Association at Basavanagudi in Bengaluru.
Results: S. Ruthva – six gold medals and one silver medal including individual championship; SubramanyaJeevamsh – two gold, four silver and one bronze medal; A. Samrudh – one gold, two silver and one bronze medal. All three have been selected to represent the State in the National-level Swimming Competition to be held in Bhubaneswar, Odisha later in the year.
Similarly in the girls’ category, N. Harika won one gold and one silver medal, R. Sanvi – six silver medals and A. Adrith – two bronze medals.
The Association has lauded the medallists and also the swimming coach Pavan Kumar for training the boy and girls.
