Mysuru: Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises – Development Institute (MSME-DI), Bengaluru, District Industries Centre (DIC), Mysuru, Mysore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) and Hebbal Industrial Estate Manufacturing Association (HIEMA), Mysuru in association with Mysuru District Small Scale Industries Association (MDSSIA) had organised a State-level Vendor Development Programme at HIEMA Convention Centre in Hebbal here on Tuesday.
Inaugurating the programme, MSME Department Assistant Director M. Satish Kumar commended the progress of MSME sector despite stiff competition in the market.
He advised representatives of manufacturing sector to participate in more number at such programmes to air their problems and get solutions. He contended that the MSME Ministry has implemented many schemes to benefit the sector. He pointed out that manufacturing operations with zero defect would have no effect on the environment.
MCCI President A.S. Satish presided. MSME Assistant Director A. Shivakumar, South Western Railway Deputy Chief Materials Manager C.D. Sharma, MCCI Secretary Shreeshaila Ramannavar, HIEMA Secretary C.M. Subramanian, Treasurer K. Mohan Kumar and others were present.
