Mysuru: The Department of English, Teresian College, Siddarthanagar, has organised a one-day State-level workshop on ‘Creative Writing’ on Sept.21 at 9 am at the Golden Jubilee Auditorium in the College premises.
The purpose of the workshop is to tap the creativity and to enlighten each one on the relevance of creative writing and enable them to hone their writing skills.
The workshop will be inaugurated by Dr. S. Srikantaswamy, Director, College Development Council, University of Mysore.
The keynote address will be delivered by Dr. Aravind Malagathi, President, Karnataka Sahitya Academy.
N. Niranjan Nikam, Features Editor, Star of Mysore, Lakshmi Palecanda, author and PreethiNagaraj, columnist, will be the resource persons along with Dr. Shylaja, Chairperson, BOE (English), University of Mysore, Prashanth Shenoy, Lead Trainer, AES Pvt.Ltd Bangalore, Prof.Anitha V. Braggs, Prof. Mary Punidavalli and Priya Uthaiah.
The workshop will conclude with a valedictory by Dr. M.H. Rudramuni, Chairperson, DOSR in English, University of Mysore.
The workshop is open to all and registration ends on Sept. 16.
